Simply Organize Your Home by Barbara Myers

good if you want to sort your kitchen / closets $19.95

There’s no messing around with this e-book, straight in to the 54 pages divided into four reports. The first, free your home from clutter, contains 107 very basic clutter tips. I liked the daily routine checklist, to help create good daily habits. I also though the “where I’ll keep them” checklist for all those odds ‘n ends was a great idea.

The second report is about freeing your closet from chaos, and provides a good walk through process to ensure you work through each stage in organizing your closets. Clear, concise bullet points make it an easy read. There’s also a list of product resources to help you (US based).

The Ultimate Kitchen report is great if this is an area of your house that needs particular attention. I think if you applied even half the tips & tricks, you would amaze yourself how much space you have created.

The final report continues the kitchen theme, and is based around recipes. There’s a seven day meal planner & a list of ingredients you need, which would be useful if you were really stuck for ideas. I do like the easy recipe substitutions list, for those moments when you discover you are completely out of something. The checklist for kitchen equipment is useful too.

Overall, a short and to the point guide, good if you want an overview and some general ideas, good if the kitchen or closet are a main focus.  You can order your copy here
